We Stopped Building Correct

There’s a Giorgio Moroder line from that Daft Punk record that I keep coming back to.

“Once you free your mind about a concept of Harmony and of music being ‘correct,’ you can do whatever you want.”

He was talking about music. But that’s exactly what building software feels like when you stop following the industry’s idea of “correct.”

Correct is a horizontal SaaS that tries to serve every industry. Correct is a feature checklist designed to win a comparison chart. Correct is the playbook everyone copies because everyone else is copying it.

We stopped building correct. We started building specific.

What specific looks like

SlackBridge exists because an agency client needed to talk to their enterprise customers across Slack and Microsoft Teams, and nothing on the market solved it. Not “messaging platform integration.” A real-time bridge that handles multi-tenant routing, file transfers, and thread context so distributed teams can stop switching platforms.

SpendApproval exists because an eight-day email chain is not a process, it’s a revenue leak. Not “expense management software.” Tamper-proof approval workflows with automated policy enforcement and a complete audit trail from request to sign-off.

NeoMoat exists because agencies deserve growth tools trained on their own data, on their own terms. Not “AI for marketing.” A full-stack growth operating system purpose-built for the agency model.

Why a venture studio can do this

The reason we can build this way is the studio model itself. We’re not an agency taking briefs. We’re not a fund writing checks. We build our own products from internal ideas, validate them through rapid prototyping, and develop each one into a standalone business.

Every product in the portfolio shares infrastructure, engineering resources, and institutional knowledge. That shared foundation is what lets us move fast on problems that would otherwise take a funded startup eighteen months to even frame correctly.

The line that matters

Once you free your mind about a concept of software being “correct,” you can build whatever actually matters.

That’s what we’ve been doing. Check out the portfolio to see what’s next.
